Join us as we light up the night, when Alexander City’s Annual Hometown Christmas Parade presented by Lake Martin Memorials winds its way through the streets of Alexander City the first Monday of December. Spectators are invited to line the parade route to watch bands and dancers perform, see the festively decorated floats, and wait for the much anticipated arrival of Jolly Old St. Nick himself.
Parade Route: The parade will line up on Comer Street. It will proceed down Cherokee towards Benjamin Russell High School. Once past BRHS, the parade will turn up Church Street and head for the round-a-bout. Once in the round-a-bout, the parade will turn east onto AL 22 (Tallapoosa Street) and proceed to the bottom of the hill to the official end of the parade.
This year's parade theme is Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.
