Do you have the cutest dog in town? If so, we have just the place for you to be at Sun Festival. Dress your dog up or bring them as they are to Strand Park for the Sun Festival Alexander City Dawg-Gawn Good Parade. The event is free! Each dog will be judged and a winner will be announced in each of the following categories: Best “Dawg-Gawn” Costume, Best “Dawg-Gawn” Manners, Most Energetic, Happy Tail Award, Most Adorable Award and Most Likely to Jump the Fence. If you don’t have a dog, no worries, dress your alternative animal and enter them to win the “Thank God I’m Not a Dog Award”.

Registration begins at 5 pm so join us for a howling good time. Don’t forget your pooper scooper to clean up after Precious. Open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy visiting with man’s best friend. Leashes required.
